In Term 1 this year, 40 Year 5/6 students were selected to take part in a surfing day at Muriwai Beach. Not one of us students had ever surfed before in our lives. What an awesome day out!!!
Hi B9 Warriors, the whole group definitely learnt new skills but the hardest one of all was 'popping' up on the board once we caught a wave. That was sooooo difficult. We failed more times than being successful.
It was a fabulous day, enjoyed by all!
